Band bio

SeaDogs Ahoy!

Formed in the Midwest, The Strolls built their identity by building songs that feel both intimate and energetic. Their 2025 album SeaDogs showcases this approach through melodic guitar lines, tight rhythms, and storytelling that embraces vulnerability. With a style that resonates across indie and alternative rock, The Strolls create music that listeners can connect with on a genuine and emotional level.

Meet the band

Scotty Frank

Bass/Vocals

Hey y'all, this is Scotty! I (barely) play the bass and sing some silly songs for the band. I have always loved music and can't remember a time when I wasn't singing! The Strolls came from my high school brain, and it's because I really like walks. That's the whole story there. Artists like Peach Pit and Racoma sonically inspire me and pretty much are the reason I'm in love with the genre. In highschool I was voted most handsome. I was also homeschooled. Thanks for listening!

Micah Gilliom

Drums

Hi, my name is Micah. I grew up playing piano, but made the switch to drums because they were more fun. I enjoy filmmaking and traveling; you'll probably find me eating Indian, Thai, or Korean food.

Jagger Van

Lead Guitar

Hey, I’m Jagger Van, a born and raised Hoosier! I joined on lead guitar in the early winter of ’26. What started as a sit-in quickly became much more after several creatively inspiring rehearsals. I really began my musical journey exploring heavy blues rock like Jack White and The Black Keys, and later expanded my musical vocabulary after falling in love with folk and bluegrass artists like Billy Strings and Doc Watson. I am so incredibly grateful for the chance to play alongside the greatest group of guys I’ve ever had the opportunity to hang with, both on and off stage!

Shaun Ross

Rhythm Guitar

Hey, it's Shaun! I have been playing guitar since middle school, and I love to create unique and engaging chord progressions that convey emotion and create a feeling that the listener will remember. And a fun fact about me is that I love collecting pocket knives!
